dc.description.abstractA proposta nesta dissertação é analisar duas obras clássicas da literatura espanhola medieval: Cárcel de Amor, escrita no século XV por de Diego de San Pedro, e La vida de Lazarillo de Tormes, romance anônimo escrito no século XVI. Com a finalidade de entender o ensino nesses dois séculos, a análise será realizada com base na contextualização histórica da Península Ibérica nos séculos XV e XVI, a qual tornou possível a compreensão dos aspectos sócio/educacionais, políticos, econômicos e religiosos dos períodos mencionados. Os objetivos da pesquisa são: estudar o contexto histórico, relacionando-o aos aspectos sócio/educacionais presentes na sociedade da época em que as obras foram escritas; analisar qual a contribuição dos ensinamentos dos romances para a sociedade em questão; refletir sobre a importância do estudo de obras clássicas para a atualidade. Com base na bibliografia, consideramos que o estudo de obras clássicas auxilia-nos a entender melhor o presente. As teorias clássicas são um importante apoio para que tanto os professores formadores quanto os futuros professores compreendam as questões contemporâneas práticas de sala de aula. Logo, para essa compreensão histórica sobre o ensino, nos fundamentaremos em autores que contribuem para o entendimento do homem em sua totalidade, entendê-los em seu tempo,compreendendo as relações que permeiam as questões econômicas, sociais e educacionais. A reflexão sobre o contexto histórico das obras selecionadas para análise leva-nos a entender as prioridades educacionais de nossa época. Desse modo, considerando a relevância da compreensão tanto do período histórico das obras analisadas quanto do atual, propusemo-nos a refletir acerca do ensino e da formação dos homens. Com base no entendimento de que as questões educacionais são específicas de cada período histórico, propomos que o ensino seja analisado nas relações humanas interdisciplinares, o que envolve os aspectos educacionais, econômicos, políticos e religiosos que representam a formação completa dos homens em sociedade.
dc.description.resumoThis thesis proposes to analyze two classics of Medieval Spanish literature: Cárcel de Amor (The Prison of Love), written in the 15th century by Diego de San Pedro, and La vida de Lazarillo de Tormes (The Life of Lazarillo de Tormes), an anonymous novel written in the 16th century. The analysis was conducted based on the historical context of the Iberian Peninsula during the 15th and the 16th centuries, with the main purpose of understanding teaching in this period. The analysis shed some light on socio/educational, political, economic and religious aspects in the two centuries. Research aims were: to study the historical context, and establish connections with the socio/educational aspects in the society at the time the works were written; to analyze the contribution of lessons taught by the novels to the society in question; to draw reflections upon the importance of studying classical pieces. Based on the bibliography, we take into account that the study of classics aids a better understanding of the present times. Classical theories represent an important support for both teacher educators and future teachers towards the understanding of contemporaneous issues on classroom practice. Thus, for such historical comprehension on teaching, we are grounded on authors that contribute to understanding man as a whole, within their own time, as well as the relationships that permeate economic, social and educational issues. The reflection upon the historical context of the selected works for analysis lead us to grasp the educational priorities of four time. Therefore, considering the significance of looking at both the historical period and the current time of the analyzed works, our proposal consists of reflecting upon teaching and the development of men. Based on the assertion that educational issues are particular to every historical period, we also propose that teaching be analyzed in its interdisciplinary human relationships, which involves educational, economic, political and religious aspects, representing the complete development of men in society.
