dc.description.abstractA presente pesquisa toma a estrutura narrativa A promessa da virgem, de Kim Hudson (2010) como ponto radial de uma investigação que rastreia o silenciamento feminino e, sobretudo, os expedientes usados para burlar esse silenciamento examinado na obra de Maria Tatar, A Heroína de 1001 faces (2022). Este rastreamento, que atravessa a arte, a literatura e o cinema, busca definir por meio da voz feminina contida em uma moldura discursiva patriarcal, um lugar de preservação da autonomia da mulher, a despeito da dominação masculina. Este lugar que para Tatar é a voz subjacente na literatura e nos contos de fadas e suas reescrituras e adaptações para o cinema, converge para o conceito de Mundo Secreto cunhado por Hudson em seu manual de escrita cinematográfica inspirado na morfologia dos contos de fadas. Os desdobramentos desse conceito de Mundo Secreto, no qual a criatividade e o fantástico são elementos essenciais à constituição e preservação da autonomia da mulher, não apenas dão voz a um feminino para além das concepções de gênero, como o tornam um espaço de elaboração de discursos ocultos (SCOTT, 2013) e subjetividades resilientes (LUGONES,2014) que originam subculturas como forma de resistência e afirmação de identidade em contextos de dominação. Por meio de um exame da imagem arquetípica evocada por Hudson n’A promessa da Virgem- Afrodite- e de uma constelação fílmica que enfatiza a análise da franquia Hunger Games (The Hunger Games (2012), The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay (2014–2015), dirigidos por Gary Ross e Francis Lawrence, e dos filmes Millenium: Os Homens Que Não Amavam as Mulheres (Män som hatar kvinnor), dirigido por Niels Arden Oplev (2009); How to Train Your Dragon, dirigido por Chris Sanders e Dean DeBlois (2010) e Howl’s Moving Castle, dirigido por Hayao Miyazaki (2004) este estudo estabelece A Promessa da Virgem como uma inciativa relevante para a cena da escrita cinematográfica por condensar conceitos e ideias análogas do cinema, da sociologia, da literatura, da psicologia e dos estudos feministas em um manual de escrita cinematográfica que se desdobra em um manual de infrapolítica.
dc.description.resumoThis research takes the narrative structure The Virgin’s Promise, by Kim Hudson (2010) as a radial point of an investigation that tracks female silencing and the devices used to circumvent this silencing examined in the work of Maria Tatar, A Heroin of 1001 Faces (2022). This tracking, which crosses art, literature, and cinema, seeks to define, through the female voice contained in a patriarchal discursive frame, a place of preservation of women's autonomy, despite male domination. This place, which for Tatar is the underlying voice in literature and fairy tales and their rewritings and adaptations for cinema, converges to the concept of the Secret World coined by Hudson in her scriptwriting manual inspired by the morphology of fairy tales. The developments of this concept of the Secret World in which creativity and the fantastic are essential elements in the constitution and preservation of women's autonomy, not only gives a feminine voice beyond gender conceptions but also becomes a space for the elaboration of hidden discourses (SCOTT, 2013) and resilient subjectivities (LUGONES,2014) that give rise to subcultures as a form of resistance and affirmation of identity in contexts of domination. Through an examination of the archetypal image evoked by Hudson in The Virgin's Promise - Aphrodite - and a filmic constellation that emphasizes the analysis of the Hunger Games franchise The Hunger Games (2012), The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), Games The Hunger: Mockingjay (2014–2015), directed by Gary Ross and Francis Lawrence and the films Millenium: The Men Who Didn't Love Women (Män som hatar kvinnor), directed by Niels Arden Oplev (2009); How to Train Your Dragon, directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois (2010) and Howl's Moving Castle, directed by Hayao Miyazaki (2004) this study establishes The Virgin's Promise as a relevant initiative for the screenwriting scene by condensing analog concepts and ideas from cinema, sociology, literature, psychology and feminist studies in a Scriptwriting Manual that disguises a infra politic manifesto.
