Abstract
This research is linked to the Master's Degree Program in Teaching: Interdisciplinary Teacher Education (PPIFOR), of the State University of Paraná (UNESPAR), Paranavaí Campus, in the research line Teacher education, teaching methodologies and theoreticaldidactic resources in educational practices, to the Study and Research Group in Education: theory and practice (GEPE), with thematic verticality in the continuing education of Early Childhood Education teachers. The general objective was to provide continuing education for teachers in context, which is articulated with sensitive listening and collaborative action in the construction of theoretical-practical knowledge articulated with Early Childhood Education teaching. In this direction, the specific objectives of the research were: to understand the historical, political and pedagogical path of Early Childhood Education and continuing education for teachers in Brazil; to outline continuing education based on real demands, sensitive listening and step-by-step elaboration (initial diagnosis, formative meetings and experience report); to present the results achieved with the continuing education of teachers in context at CMEI from an analytical perspective. This research has a methodological framework in formative action research (Junges, 2016) and in teacher education in context in accordance with Ujiie (2019), which seeks to actively involve participants to promote changes and improvements based on the reality in which they are inserted and supported by education that takes reality, sensitive listening, and dialogicity as its starting point and follows a formative path that consists of walking with the research participants. Thus, the ongoing education of teachers in context consisted of 40 hours, 6 hours of initial diagnosis (questionnaire, analysis and feedback), 24 hours in synchronous remote education meetings and 10 hours of experience reporting after the education meetings, considering validation of the constructed learning. Of the 26 invited professionals and members of the CMEI team, 13 (50%) joined the research and answered the diagnostic questionnaire. When invited to the feedback meeting, 9 participated in the feedback, and one of them had not answered the diagnostic questionnaire. The frequency of the training sessions was high, with a variation of 13 to 5 professionals, and only 3 teachers submitted their experience reports. It was possible to obtain certification for 9 professionals, 3 with fulltime hours and 6 with part-time hours. The final evaluation questionnaire for the in-context education was answered by 6 professionals, 100% of whom highlighted the relevance of the content and its applicability in pedagogical practice, with a percentage above 90%. Dialogue, active listening and the relevance of the topics were highlighted as positive points. However, the education being carried out in a context outside of working hours was identified as a limiting factor for participation. It is concluded that the continuing education of teachers in context requires strategic planning, considering listening to professionals, workload, adaptation to reality, the need for dialogue and flexibility, and being an integral part of a copartnership action with the network to guarantee in-service delivery, with a view to greater adherence and effectiveness.
