dc.description.abstractA Educação Ambiental (EA) tem como um de seus objetivos o desenvolvimento de hábitos sustentáveis e socioambientais, devendo, portanto, estar presente, de forma articulada e contínua, na educação formal, em todos os seus níveis e modalidades. Nesse contexto, a abordagem de temas, pela escola, sob essa perspectiva, é um dos possíveis caminhos para a formação de cidadãos com atitudes e valores éticos voltados à consciência ambiental. Sendo assim, devido à importância do tema para a sociedade contemporânea, esta pesquisa tem como proposta identificar se a EA foi comtemplada na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), na fase final do Ensino Fundamental, em três instituições públicas estaduais do noroeste do Paraná. A investigação ocorreu entre os meses de fevereiro a julho de 2020. Para a realização da pesquisa as principais fontes foram os Livros Registros de Classe On Line (LRCO), sendo que as palavras chave buscadas em tais documentos foram “educação ambiental”, “conservação ambiental”, “conservação dos recursos naturais”, “preservação ambiental”, “impactos ambientais”, “saneamento ambiental”, “socioambiental”, “sustentabilidade”, “desenvolvimento sustentável” e “meio ambiente”. As palavras-chave foram escolhidas por representarem temas estratégicos para a abordagem da EA crítica. O escopo de verificação é composto pelos registros do LRCO de três instituições estaduais da região noroeste do Paraná, nas disciplinas de Arte, Educação Física, Língua Portuguesa, Matemática, Geografia, História, Ciências e Inglês. Aplicando a Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin, obtivemos 4.110 registros, dentre os quais certificou-se que o termo EA não foi mencionado nem uma vez nas aulas ministradas. Foi averiguado, também, que a distribuição das palavras-chave não é homogênea entre as disciplinas da grade curricular, concentrando-se em Ciências, Geografia e História. Diante disso, constata-se um retrocesso frente à Política Nacional de Educação Ambiental (PNEA), que orienta a perspectiva inter-, multi- e transdisciplinar para promover a EA crítica. Os registros do LRCO revelaram que os conteúdos abordados no espaço escolar do EF da EJA ainda trazem consigo correntes conservadoras, reducionistas e disciplinares da EA, indicando que este tema ainda é tratado de maneira limitada e pontual, em apenas três componentes curriculares: Ciências, Geografia e História.
dc.description.resumoEnvironmental Education (EE) has as one of its objectives the development of sustainable and socio-environmental habits, and therefore it must be present, in an articulated and continuous way, in formal education, at all levels and modalities. In this context, the approach of themes, by the school, from this perspective, is one of the possible means for the formation of citizens with attitudes and ethical values focused on environmental awareness. Therefore, due to the importance of the theme for contemporary society, this research aims to identify whether EE was contemplated in Youth and Adult Education (YAE), in the final period of Elementary School, in three state public institutions in the northwest of Paraná.The investigation took place from February to July, 2020. To carry out the research, the main sources were the On Line Class Record Books (OLCRB), and the keywords looked for in such documents were "environmental education", "environmental conservation", "conservation of natural resources", "environmental preservation", "environmental impacts", "environmental sanitation", "socio-environmental", "sustainability", "sustainable development" and "environment". The keywords were chosen because they represent strategic themes for approaching critical EE. The verification scope is composed of the OLCRB records of three state institutions in the northwest region of Paraná, in the subjects of Art, Physical Education, Portuguese Language, Mathematics, Geography, History, Science and English. Applying Bardin's Content Analysis, we obtained 4,110 records, among which it was certified that the term EE was not mentioned even once in the classes taught. It was also verified that the distribution of keywords is not homogeneous among the subjects of the curriculum, focusing on Science, Geography and History. Thus, there is a setback against the National Environmental Education Policy (NEEP), which guides the inter-, multi- and transdisciplinary perspective to promote critical EE. The OLCRB records revealed that the contents covered in the school space of the Elementary School of YAE still bring with them conservative, reductionist and disciplinary currents of EE, indicating that this topic is still treated in a limited and punctual way, in only three curricular components: Sciences , Geography and History.
