dc.description.abstractEsta dissertação tem como objeto central de investigação as produções dos professores de História desenvolvidas no Programa de Desenvolvimento Educacional (PDE), entre os anos de 2007 a 2016, referente à História e Cultura Africana e Afro brasileira. O PDE é uma política pública de formação continuada levada a cabo pelo governo do Estado do Paraná com vistas a capacitar o quadro docente do magistério estadual. Por meio da análise qualitativa dos 303 artigos elaborados pelos professores de História dentro da aludida temática, investigamos se a lei n.º 10.639/03 vem sendo implementada satisfatoriamente nas escolas estaduais paranaenses. A análise das produções foi feita tomando como referência a nova historiografia sobre o negro no Brasil bem como a legislação federal e estadual afeta ao tema. Da análise dos trabalhos constatou-se que estes, em sua grande maioria, estão em consonância com esta nova historiografia bem como demonstram conhecer os diplomas legais e demais instrumentos normativos criados pelos governos federal e estadual para implementação da referida lei. Além disso, diversas produções apontam para o fato da existência da discriminação, do preconceito e do racismo no ambiente escolar paranaense, fato que só reforça a necessidade da continuidade das políticas públicas de formação e capacitação docente. Por fim, destacamos que as produções PDE História se constituem num rico material didático para se trabalhar a História e a Cultura africana e afro-brasileira nas escolas.
dc.description.resumoThis dissertation aims to investigate History teachers’ production developed in the Educational Development Program (PDE), from 2007 to 2016, regarding African and Afro-Brazilian History and Culture. PDE is a continuous formation public policy carried out by the government of the state of Paraná in order to empower the teaching staff of the state magisterium. By the qualitative analysis of 303 papers wrote by History teachers within the mentioned topic, we investigated if the Law 10.639/03 has been satisfactorily implemented in the schools in the state of Paraná. The analysis of the production was conducted with reference to the new historiography about black people in Brazil as well as the federal and state legislation affects the topic. From the analysis of the papers we could realize that they, mostly, are in accord with that new historiography as well as they seem to know the legal documents and the other normative instruments created by federal and state governments to the implementation of the law. Furthermore, many productions point to the existence of discrimination, prejudice and racism in the school environment in the state of Paraná, which only strengthen the necessity of continuing public politics in educational formation and training. Finally, we highlighted that History PDE production constitutes a rich didactic material to work with African and Afro-Brazilian Culture and History in schools.
