dc.description.abstractA presente pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar o fenômeno migratório entre o Nordeste e o Sul do Brasil a partir das memórias de Benedita e Manoel, nascidos em Vitória da Conquista, na Bahia, e que migraram para o Paraná na década de 1960 – passando pelo município de Paranavaí, até fixarem residência em Ubiratã. Basicamente, a análise se concentra nas memórias de Benedita e Manoel e no significado que esse fenômeno migratório adquiriu em suas vidas, com base em suas narrativas. Além disso, pondero nesta investigação o grau de parentesco que possuo com os entrevistados, o que apresenta uma problemática da afetividade, já que tratam-se de meus avós. Para a realização da investigação, utilizei como principal fonte as entrevistas tendo como base teórico-metodológico a História Oral e, ainda, refletindo as escolhas feitas durante o processo pensando a História Pública, neste caso, a realização do documentário que se deu a partir da filmagem das entrevistas coletadas para a pesquisa. Desse modo, de um lado este trabalho se concentra em analisar as memórias de Benedita e Manoel e de outro, em apresentar e discutir a maneira pela qual abordei a História Pública nesta pesquisa a partir da produção do documentário, que tem como título “Benedita e Manoel”. A partir disso, foi possível perceber como processos históricos amplos perpassam as narrativas de Benedita e Manoel e, especialmente, explorar as possibilidades de diálogo da História com outras áreas do saber – como o cinema – e com os públicos não-acadêmicos, trazendo como “atores” ou “personagens” históricos pessoas que, possivelmente, de outra maneira, permaneceriam anônimas na historiografia.
dc.description.resumoThis research aims to analyze the migratory phenomenon between the Northeast and the South of Brazil from the memories of Benedita and Manoel, born in Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, and who migrated to Paraná in the 1960s - passing through the city from Paranavaí, until they settled in Ubiratã. Basically, the analysis focuses on the memories of Benedita and Manoel and on the meaning that this migratory phenomenon acquired in their lives, based on their narratives. In addition, in this investigation, I ponder the degree of relatedness I have with the interviewees, which presents a problem of affectivity since they are my grandparents. To carry out the investigation, I used the interviews as the main source, having as a theoretical-methodological basis the Oral History and, also, reflecting the choices made during the process of thinking about Public History, in this case, the documentary making that happened from the interview recordings collected for the research. Therefore, on the one hand, this work focuses on analyzing the memories of Benedita and Manoel and on the other hand, on presenting and discussing the way in which I approached Public History in this research from the production of the documentary, entitled “Benedita and Manoel”. From this, it was possible to see how broad historical processes permeate the narratives of Benedita and Manoel and, especially, to explore possibilities of dialogue between History and other areas of knowledge - such as cinema - and with non-academic audiences, bringing as “historical actors” or “characters” people who, possibly, otherwise, would remain anonymous in historiography.
