dc.description.abstractO rápido crescimento do acesso às tecnologias na sociedade tem motivado a realização de estudos sobre os impactos desses recursos no ambiente escolar, tornado uma alternativa importante para o processo de formação dos alunos. Nesse sentido, o objetivo desta pesquisa é por meio de uma investigação descritiva-exploratória avaliar em que medida a metodologia WebQuest contribui para o processo de aprendizagem. A WebQuest é uma metodologia colaborativa elaborada com suporte na internet, na qual o aluno empreende investigação orientada de temáticas predefinidas pelo professor, em que a maior parte das informações com as quais interagem são originadas da internet. A investigação foi realizada com alunos do 3º ano do Ensino Médio da rede pública de ensino, de cinco escolas de diferentes cidades da Mesorregião Centro Ocidental Paranaense. Desenvolvida em três etapas, a pesquisa foi constituída pela aplicação de questionários por meio da plataforma Survey Monkey; desenvolvimento e aplicação da WebQuest e, por fim, observação e avaliação participativa do pesquisador no ambiente escolar. Os dados foram apreciados a partir da análise fatorial exploratória e a regressão linear múltipla, de modo a identificar os fatores que influenciaram diretamente no desempenho da utilização da WebQuest. Como resultado das análises concluiu-se que os alunos que demonstram interesse em relação a utilização das tecnologias para aprendizagem, conseguem atingir melhores resultados na resolução das tarefas, como foi verificado na aplicação da WebQuest, contribuindo para a aprendizagem e o desenvolvimento cognitivo dos alunos.
dc.description.resumoThe rapid growth of access to technology in society has motivated studies about the impacts of these resources at school, becoming an important alternative to the process of graduating the students. In this sense, the objective of this research is through a descriptive and exploratory research to assess to what extent the WebQuest methodology contributes to the learning process. WebQuest is a developed web-based collaborative methodology, in which the student undertakes focused research topics predefined by the teacher, in which most of the information with which they interact originate on the internet. The investigation was carried out with 3rd year high school students of the in public schools, from five schools in different cities from the Greater Central Western Region of Parana. Developed in three stages, the survey was set up through questionnaires by the Survey Monkey platform; development and implementation of WebQuest and finally, participant observation and evaluation of the researcher in the school environment. Data was examined from the exploratory factor analysis and multiple linear regression to identify the factors that directly influenced the performance of using WebQuest. As a result of the analysis it was concluded that students who demonstrate interest in the use of technology for learning, can achieve better results in the resolution of tasks, as verified in the implementation of WebQuest, contributing to learning and cognitive development of students.
