dc.description.abstractNesta dissertação discutimos as contribuições da disciplina de Educação Física para a implementação da lei 10.639/03 nas escolas públicas do Estado do Paraná. Em especial, analisamos os trabalhos realizados pelos professores participantes do Programa de Desenvolvimento Educacional (PDE/SEED/PR) que desenvolveram seus estudos acerca da cultura africana e afro-brasileira e, em especial, sobre os conteúdos de capoeira e danças afro-brasileiras. O recorte temporal adotado abarca o período compreendido entre os anos de 2007 a 2014 e foi adotado em razão de contemplar o início e o fim das produções PDE que estão disponibilizadas no portal Dia a Dia Educação. A pesquisa, de cunho qualitativo, contemplou a análise das referidas produções a partir do diálogo com a literatura acadêmica afeta ao tema bem como à luz materialismo histórico dialético. A análise das fontes demonstrou que, embora haja a preocupação de parte dos professores de Educação Física em contribuir para a aplicabilidade da lei, estes ainda têm dificuldades para inserir os conteúdos no currículo escolar da disciplina de modo a trabalhar tal temática de forma perene e não apenas em ocasiões pontuais, como a semana da consciência negra. Por outro lado, o trabalho interdisciplinar se apresenta como uma das possibilidades para fazer valer a referida lei, haja vista a relação de tais conteúdos com as disciplinas de História, Geografia, Literatura, Educação Artística, dentre outras.
dc.description.resumoIn this thesis we discuss the Physical Education contributions to the Law 10.639/03 implementation at the public schools in the state of Paraná. In special, we analyze the works realized by the professors participating in the Educational Development Program (PDE/SEED/PR) which developed their studies on African and Afro-Brazilian culture and, in special, about the contents on Afro-Brazilian capoeira and dancing. The adopted time frame covers the period between the years 2007 and 2014, and it was adopted because it contemplates the beginning and the end of the PDE productions that are available on the portal Dia a Dia Educação. The qualitative research contemplated the analysis of the referred productions since the dialog with the academic literature affects the subject, also in the light of the dialectical and historical materialism. The sources analysis showed that, however there is the concern on the part of the Physical Education professors in contribute to the applicability of the law, they still have difficulties in include the contents in the school curriculum of the subject in order to work such topic in a perennial way and not only in punctual occasions, like the Black Awareness Week. On the other hand, the interdisciplinary work presents as one of the possibilities to uphold the mentioned law, due to the relation of such contents with subjects like History, Geography, Literature and Visual Arts Education.
