dc.description.abstractAs escolas normais ocuparam um papel central na formação de professores no Brasil, fizeram parte da formação de uma geração de educadores e educadoras, se nas primeiras décadas do século XX essas escolas eram situadas em cidades brasileiras mais importantes, na década de 1950 passaram a fazer parte da realidade de várias cidades interioranas com potencial de crescimento regional, como foi em Paranavaí (PR), onde que foi criada a Escola Normal Secundária “Leonel Franca” em 1956. Funcionou como tal até a publicação da Lei nº 5.692/71. (BRASIL, 1971). A última turma de normalistas formou-se em 1974. O objetivo dessa pesquisa é compreender o processo de formação e inserção socioeducacional de mulheres, promovido pela Escola Normal Secundária “Leonel Franca”, na cidade de Paranavaí entre 1956 e 1974. No âmbito teórico nos embasamos na história social e cultural, permitindo diálogos entre diferentes áreas do conhecimento, ampliando as possibilidades para a compreensão do objeto no contexto sócio-histórico, especialmente por meio de Thompson (1998), Bertucci, Faria Filho e Oliveira (2010). As representações construídas por ex estudantes da Escola Normal são analisadas com base em Chartier (1990), a partir de notícias e de respostas a um questionário preenchido por um grupo amostra composto por quatro mulheres, sendo três delas estudaram na instituição e uma foi professora, no período delimitado nesta pesquisa. A história e cultura produzidas e disseminadas no interior desses estabelecimentos de ensino no Brasil e no Paraná foram trabalhadas tendo como referenciais autores como Monarcha (1999) e Miguel (2006). Aspectos da história das mulheres e do seu ingresso na educação foram analisados com base em autoras como Almeida (2007); Priore (2018) e Perrot (2018), entre outros. O estudo teve como fontes documentos escolares localizados no arquivo da escola; em notícias publicadas no periódico Diário do Noroeste do ano 1971, bem como no livro escrito por Bana (2013), onde há fotografias de vários documentos da Escola Normal Secundária “Leonel Franca”. Localizamos, também, outros documentos e fotografias em acervos particulares. A pesquisa propiciou conhecer aspectos da organização da educação no âmbito nacional, estadual e regional. A análise das fontes e as entrevistas evidenciam que esta Escola Normal foi extremamente valorizada por quem nela estudou e pela comunidade em geral. Conforme mostram as notícias, atividades nela realizadas, não raro, eram colocadas lado a lado com as na então Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras (FAFI). Seguramente, foi um espaço reconhecido e valorizado para escolarização das mulheres na região noroeste do Paraná.
dc.description.resumoThe normal schools occupy the main role in teachers’ formations in Brazil. Made part in the generation of educators. If in the first decade of the XX century’s, those schools were situated in Brazilian cities that were more important, at 1950 decades, started to make part of others inland cities with a regional growth like it was in Paranavaí (PR), city that was founded the school “Leonel Franca” regular secondary school in 1956. Worked as such until the publication of the law Nº 5692/71. (BRAZIL, 1971). The last class of formalists was formed in 1974. The research’s goal was to comprehend the formation and socio-educational insertion process of women promoted by the "Leonel Franca" regular secondary school in the city of Paranavaí between 1956 and 1974. In the theoretical scope we base ourselves in the history and social story, allowing dialogue between different knowledge areas, amplifying the possibilities of understanding the goal in the socio-historical context, especially through Thompson (1998), Bertucci, Faria Filho and Oliveira (2010). The representations built by ex students of regular school are analyzed based on Chartier (1990) from news and a quiz answered by a group of four women, being that three of them studied at the institution and one was a teacher in a delimited time in this research. The history and the culture produced and disseminated in the interior of these educational establishments in Brazil and in Paraná will be worked having reference in researchers like Monarcha (1999) and Miguel (2006). The history and aspects of women and their entry into education was analyzed and based on researchers like Almeida (2007), Priore (2018) and Perrot (2018) and others. The study has as sources in schools’ documents located in the schools’ files. In the published news in the periodic Diário do Nordeste do Paraná (1971), like the book written by Bana (2013), that has photographs of a lot of documents of “Leonel Franca” regular secondary school. Were located documents and photographs in private collections. The analysis of sources and interviews evidence that regular school was extremely valued from who studied there and from the all the community. According to what is shown in the news, activities performed, not rarely, that was putt-in side by side to Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras (FAFI). Surely it was a recognized and valued place for women schooling in Northwest of Paraná.
