dc.description.abstractA temática foco desta dissertação é a “Pedagogia Hospitalar” e enceta um estudo de caso qualitativo situado no município de Paranavaí-PR. A Pedagogia Hospitalar é um campo que entretece educação e saúde numa ação socioeducativa humanizada. Em conformidade com Martins (2008) esta ação educativa no hospital possui três vertentes: classe hospitalar, hospitalização escolarizada ou atendimento escolar domiciliar e atividades lúdicas, sendo cada uma delas suporte educacional elementar no processo de recuperação dos pacientes pediátricos, crianças e/ou adolescentes hospitalizados. Frente ao exposto, foi necessário um recorte teórico e metodológico, que pudesse conduzir a investigação; optamos por um estudo de caso qualitativo, embasado por Lüdke e André (2013), considerando que um estudo dessa natureza desenvolve-se numa situação real, rica em dados descritivos, sem perder, no entanto a focalização da realidade de forma complexa e contextualizada. A pesquisa teve por objetivo geral realizar um estudo de caso situado em Paranavaí, interior do Estado do Paraná, em relação ao atendimento de pedagogia hospitalar auferido à população hospitalizada do munícipio, via Santa Casa de Misericórdia, e os suportes correlatos. Os objetivos específicos foram: compreender o enquadramento da Pedagogia Hospitalar no cenário brasileiro e no contexto local; analisar a estrutura, cofigurações e nuances do atendimento à população hospitalizada local; averiguar os contributivos e limites do atendimento auferido. A pesquisa ancorou-se em autores dedicados ao tema para constituir sua base teórica e considerando as nuances evidenciadas pela pesquisa, que demonstrou ter o atendimento da correlação com a hospitalização escolarizada ou atendimento escolar domiciliar e atividades lúdicas, e encetou uma revisão de literatura com verticalidade correlata às duas dimensões, “pedagogia hospitalar” e “brinquedoteca hospitalar. Nesse bojo, a coleta de dados contou com visitações e observações da unidade de saúde, com a ação voluntária do grupo médicos do humor, a secretaria municipal de educação e o núcleo regional, conversas informais e entrevistas semiestruturadas com integrantes do atendimento hospitalar paranavaiense. Foram sujeitos da pesquisa dezoito participantes, dentre eles: a Enfermeira-Chefe da Santa Casa, a Pedagoga Hospitalar da unidade, a representante municipal do atendimento domiciliar, a representante do núcleo regional do atendimento domiciliar, a coordenadora da ação voluntária e treze membros da ação. O estudo foi realizado de forma ampla, observando o todo, captando seus elementos, desde o contexto histórico, estrutura da unidade de saúde e articulação do atendimento. Podemos concluir que nesta unidade há um limite entre a execução da atividade pedagógica hospitalar e o período de internamento, que em geral é de curto prazo; não existe uma ação articulista de trabalho colaborativo ampla entre a unidade de saúde e os suportes correlatos de atendimento domiciliar municipal e do núcleo, o que deixa a ação socioeducativa hospitalar ensimesmada e o trabalho da pedagoga hospitalar torna-se limitado e muitas vezes inconclusivo. Apesar dos limites de atendimento a ação voluntária que se articula com a vertente de atividade lúdica demonstra resultados produtivos e promissores comprometidos com a humanização, a alegria, a educação e a reabilitação em saúde.
dc.description.resumoThe focus of this thesis is “Hospital Pedagogy” and it initiates a qualitative case study situated in the municipality of Paranavaí-PR. Hospital Pedagogy is a field that intertwines education and health in a humanized socio-educational action. According to Martins (2008), this educational action in the hospital has three aspects: hospital classroom, school-based hospitalization or home schooling, and recreational activities, each serving as fundamental educational support in the recovery process of pediatric patients, children, and/or adolescents hospitalized. In light of this, a theoretical and methodological framework was necessary to guide the investigation. We chose a qualitative case study approach, based on Lüdke and André (2013), as such a study develops in a real situation rich in descriptive data, while maintaining a complex and contextualized focus on reality. The general objective of the research was to conduct a case study situated in Paranavaí, in the interior of the State of Paraná, regarding the hospital pedagogy services provided to the hospitalized population of the municipality, via Santa Casa de Misericórdia and related supports. The specific objectives were to understand the framework of Hospital Pedagogy in the Brazilian scenario and the local context; to analyze the structure, configurations, and nuances of the services provided to the local hospitalized population; and to examine the contributions and limitations of the services provided. The research was grounded in authors dedicated to the topic to build its theoretical base, and considering the nuances highlighted by the research, which showed a correlation between school-based hospitalization or home schooling and recreational activities, a literature review was undertaken that vertically correlated the two dimensions of “hospital pedagogy” and “hospital playroom.” In this context, data collection involved visits and observations of the health unit, the municipal education department, and the regional center, informal conversations, and semi structured interviews with members of the Paranavaí hospital services. The study involved eighteen participants, including: the Chief Nurse of Santa Casa, the Hospital Pedagogue of the unit, the municipal representative of home hospital care, the regional center representative of home hospital care, the coordinator of the voluntary action, and thirteen members of the action. The study was conducted broadly, observing the whole, capturing its elements, from the historical context, the structure of the health unit, and the coordination of services. We concluded that in this unit, there is a limit between the execution of hospital pedagogical activities and the hospitalization period, which is generally short-term. There is no broad collaborative work between the health unit and the related supports of municipal home hospital care and the center, which leaves the socio-educational hospital action isolated, and the work of the hospital pedagogue often becomes limited and inconclusive. Despite the limitations of the services, the voluntary action, which aligns with the recreational activities aspect, shows productive and promising results committed to humanization, joy, education, and health rehabilitation.
