Abstract (English)
This dissertation investigates creative processes developed through a durational action carried out between April 2024 and April 2025. During this period, what I call the collector-state emerged: a disposition of attention toward everyday life, open to encounters, recurrences, small events, and fragments that gradually became part of the research. Photographs, notes, overheard speech, diary records, and other materials were gathered during the action and later revisited, selected, and organized into an archive. The research articulates durational action, body, attention, collecting, archive, and artistic creation, drawing primarily on the studies of Maurice Maeterlinck, Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, Georges Didi-Huberman, and Sandra Rey, while establishing dialogues with the practices of Tehching Hsieh, John Cage, and Ana Amorim. The dissertation is organized into three notebooks with distinct visual and textual regimes: the first elaborates the collector-state and its theoretical and artistic connections; the second presents the archive constituted from the traces of the collecting process; and the third brings together artworks and propositions in which materials, procedures, and questions from the research reappear under different conditions. The montage of the dissertation itself becomes part of this process, bringing fragments, temporalities, and modes of writing into proximity without erasing their differences.
