dc.description.abstractNesta pesquisa, investiguei a relação entre arte, política e memória das mulheres militantes no período da ditadura empresarial-militar no Brasil. O objetivo consistiu em evidenciar a memória de mulheres militantes no referido período (1964-1985), relacionando as questões políticas e femininas, articulando-as ao trabalho em poéticas e às possibilidades de resistência. A metodologia pressupôs o trabalho artístico conectado à pesquisa teórica e dialogou com os conceitos de memória, resistência e militância política de mulheres. Teoria e prática estão vinculadas conforme o conceito de Jean Lancri. Ao construir a dissertação entrelacei a revisão bibliográfica das publicações existentes sobre as mulheres na resistência à ditadura com os depoimentos de três entrevistadas e construí trabalhos visuais que trouxeram suas memórias enquanto militantes e problematizaram as possibilidades de resistência. Como referência teórica, utilizei Walter Benjamin, em sua perspectiva histórica; e Georges DidiHuberman, em suas análises da iconografia dos levantes que ressaltam a importância da memória e apontam possibilidades de resistência e de luta contra os apagamentos históricos. No trabalho plástico realizado dialoguei com a obra de Louise Bourgeois, Hélio Oiticica, Lygia Pape, Lygia Clark, Cecilia Vicuña e Marta Minujín. A pesquisa costurou a memória das mulheres militantes que subverteram a ordem vigente, tanto na vida pública quanto na privada, com os tecidos do inconformismo explicitado nas obras plásticas autorais, e alinhavou círculos de mulheres e homens que se levantaram na luta por uma sociedade mais livre e igualitária.
dc.description.resumoIn this research I investigated the relationship between art, politics, and the memory of militant women during the period of the business-military dictatorship in Brazil. The goal was to highlight the memory of militant women during that period (1964-1985), relating political and feminist issues, and linking them to work in poetics and possibilities for resistance. The methodology involved artistic work connected to theoretical research and engaged with the concepts of memory, resistance, and women's political militancy. Theory and practice are linked according to Jean Lancri's concept. In constructing the dissertation, I intertwined a bibliographic review of existing publications on women in resistance to the dictatorship with the testimonies of three interviewees and created visual works that brought forth their memories as militants and problematized the possibilities of resistance. As theoretical references, I used Walter Benjamin, in his historical perspective; and Georges Didi-Huberman, in his analyses of the iconography of uprisings that highlight the importance of memory and point to possibilities of resistance and struggle against historical erasure. In the artwork created I engaged in dialogue with the work of Louise Bourgeois, Hélio Oiticica, Lygia Pape, Lygia Clark, Cecilia Vicuña, and Marta Minujín. The research wove together the memory of militant women who subverted the established order, both in public and private life, with the fabric of nonconformity expressed in their own artworks, and stitched together circles of women and men who rose up in the struggle for a freer and more egalitarian society.
