dc.description.abstractEsta dissertação investiga a Dismorfia Corporal nas Artes Visuais, com ênfase na produção poética e teórica sobre corpos que escapam às normas socialmente impostas. O recorte temporal abrange os anos de 2021 a 2026. A figuração se desenvolve pela linguagem da gravura. O problema central consiste em pensar uma série de gravuras que retratem essas relações corporais em suas implicações estéticas, bem como suas reflexões éticas. A metodologia se insere no campo da pesquisa em arte, ancorada em René Passeron, compreendendo o conhecimento como gesto e pensamento sensível. A investigação centra-se na produção de autorretratos e de registros a partir da observação do outro, situada no contexto de Curitiba. O referencial teórico articula a fenomenologia de Maurice Merleau-Ponty e a ética da alteridade de Emmanuel Lévinas, afirmando-se na transformação da dismorfia corporal em matéria artística. Ao deslocar a dismorfia do âmbito clínico para o gesto criador, o trabalho a inscreve nas técnicas da gravura tradicional e no campo ampliado da arte. Torna-se visível uma experiência frequentemente invisibilizada e tensionando o preconceito e a banalização dos transtornos mentais.
dc.description.resumoThis dissertation investigates Body Dysmorphia in the Visual Arts, with an emphasis on poetic and theoretical works addressing bodies that defy socially imposed norms. The time frame covers the years 2021 to 2026. The figuration is developed through the language of printmaking. The central problem consists of conceiving a series of prints that portray these bodily relationships in their aesthetic implications, as well as their ethical reflections. The methodology falls within the field of art research, grounded in René Passeron, understanding knowledge as gesture and sensitive thought. The research focuses on the production of selfportraits and records based on the observation of the other, situated in the context of Curitiba. The theoretical framework articulates the phenomenology of Maurice Merleau-Ponty and the ethics of alterity of Emmanuel Lévinas, asserting itself in the transformation of bodily dysmorphia into artistic matter. By shifting body dysmorphia from the clinical realm to the creative gesture, the work situates it within traditional printmaking techniques and the expanded field of art. An experience that is often rendered invisible becomes visible, challenging the prejudice and trivialization of mental disorders.
