dc.description.abstractEssa pesquisa analisa as potencialidades do uso do podcast como ferramenta midiática audiovisual de ensino e aprendizagem em espaços educativos. Considerando a ferramenta como uma mídia em constante crescente no Brasil, e entre o público jovem, de acordo com dados da AbPod (Associação Brasileira de Podcasters), ainda encontra-se uma lacuna nos estudos e pesquisas que amparam o uso do podcast como recurso pedagógico. A partir dessas considerações, esta pesquisa ampara-se nos estudos teóricos de (Jesus, 2014) e (Freire, 2014), sobre o uso da ferramenta no contexto escolar. A pesquisa também faz revisão de literatura de teóricos como: (Lévy, 1998), (Hall, 2006), (Jenkins, 2009), (Prensky, 2011) sobre a cultura da convergência no ciberespaço e na pós-modernidade, bem como a afinidade das novas gerações para as novas tecnologias. A Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) é analisada como sustentação para as diretrizes e competências que devem ser adquiridas por alunos durante a fase escolar da educação básica. Espera-se que esta pesquisa discuta o potencial educativo da ferramenta podcast, bem como auxilie professores e alunos no processo de formação continuada para novas mídias, em um espaço multimídia.
dc.description.resumoThis research analyzes the potential of using podcasts as an audiovisual media tool for teaching and learning in educational spaces. Considering the tool as a constantly growing media in Brazil, and among young audiences, according to data from AbPod (Brazilian Association of Podcasters), there is still a gap in studies and research that support the use of podcasts as a pedagogical resource. Based on these considerations, this research is based on the theoretical studies of (Jesus, 2014) and (Freire, 2014), on the use of the tool in the school context. The research also reviews the literature of theorists such as: (Lévy, 1998), (Hall, 2006), (Jenkins, 2009), (Prensky, 2011) on the culture of convergence in cyberspace and postmodernity, as well as the affinity of new generations for new technologies. The National Common Core Curriculum (BNCC) is analyzed as a support for the guidelines and competencies that should be acquired by students during the school phase of basic education. It is hoped that this research will discuss the educational potential of the podcast tool, as well as helping teachers and students in the process of continuing training for new media, in a multimedia space.
