The present research was elaborated within the scope of the Professional Master's Degree in Inclusive Education – PROFEI at the State University of Paraná, in the line of research: Special Education from the perspective of Inclusive Education. The researched theme discusses the Support Professional in the care of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the Municipal Network of Curitiba. The general objective of this work is to analyze the performance of the Support Professional in the Municipal Network in the care of students with ASD and the specific ones are: to briefly present the public policies that regulate the Support Professional in the care of students with ASD; describe the hiring of this professional in the Municipal Network of Curitiba; to record data on the collaborative work between the Support Professional and the regent teacher, to develop an educational product in ebook format evidencing pedagogical practices for the Support Professional, the regent teacher and the school in the care of students with ASD. We assume that although public policies regulate which students are intended for the work of this professional, there are several interpretations of the law and how this professional should act. For this analysis, we adopted as an investigation methodology, a qualitative abortion, starting with a bibliographic research, followed by the application of a questionnaire, through a form in a research management application. The participants of the research were regents teachers and support professionals from three municipal schools with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The categories analyzed were: aspects related to the training that the PA must receive; the implementation of the Berenice Piana Law in the Curitiba Municipal Network; the collaborative work between the regent teacher PR and PA and the conception of the regent teacher and the PA regarding the PA's performance. The responses to the questionnaires were analyzed based on studies by Bardin (2016), using content analysis. The results found demonstrate the need for training to work as a PA, the importance of collaborative work between PA and PR professionals, participants' lack of knowledge of legislation regarding the right to a PA and the conception that PA is fundamental for inclusion happen. From the results, an educational product was created in eBook format, highlighting pedagogical practices for support professionals that contribute to the development of the role. It should be noted that the research project was approved by the Unespar ethics committee, Opinion No. 6,096-784, on June 2, 2023, and by the ethics committee of the Curitiba Municipal Health Department, Opinion No. 6,508,917, on November 16, 2023.
